El Hierro ist die kleinste Insel der Kanarischen Inseln. Von den sieben ist sie die westlichste und hat das gleiche Klima wie die anderen. Ein Paradies mitten im Atlantischen Ozean.

Das Leben auf El Hierro ist anders. Sie ist etwas Besonderes, sie ist einzigartig. Es ist eine Insel, um sie mit den fünf Sinnen zu genießen, ihre Landschaften zu entdecken und ihren Frieden zu spüren.

Im Februar 2025 begaben wir uns in dieses Abenteuer. Zunächst auf dem GR131 Camino de la Virgen von Tamaduste bis zum Faro de Orchillo.

Danach machten wir eine Inselumrundung. Start war die Ermita de los Reyes, Ziel Sabinosa.
140 km mit 5400 hm hinauf und 5140 hm hinunter. Ein großartiges Abenteuer.

El Hierro is the smallest island of the Canary Islands. Of the seven, it is the most westerly and has the same climate as the others. A paradise in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

In February 2025 we embarked on this adventure. First on the GR131 Camino de la Virgen from Tamaduste to Faro de Orchillo.

Afterwards we went around the island. Start was the Ermita de los Reyes, destination Sabinosa.
140 km with 5400 m up and 5140 m down. A great adventure.
