Wichtig ist zu beachten, dass bei einer roten Wetterwarnung sämtliche Wanderwege gesperrt sind. Wer umweltfreundlich mit dem Bus auf La Palma unterwegs ist sollte sich die APP TILP aufs Mobil laden. Hier kann man die nächste Bushaltestelle sehen und wie lange es noch dauert bis der nächste Bus kommt.
Besonders erwähnenswert sind die Hostels auf La Palma, die dem Wanderer eine kostengünstige Unterkunft und netten Kontakt zu anderen Wanderern ermöglicht.
