Ausgangspunkt: Rastplatz El Pilar (erreichbar von der Verbindungsstraße von Santa Cruz de La Palma nach Los Llanos; nach dem westlichen Tunnelausgang muss man die Regionalstraße nehmen)oder man fährt mit dem Bus und steigt von Santa Cruz kommend nach dem neuen Tunnel aus. Hier kann man am Besten per Anhalter fahren oder man bestellt sich im Vorfeld ein Taxi (13 Euro).

Endpunkt: Fuencaliente de La Palma / Los Canarios. Am Taxistand in der Ctra General de Tablado beginnt der (entspannte) Rückweg zum Startpunkt.
Oder man läuft noch die 6,5 km bis zum Faro an den Strand und den Salinen. Unterwegs unbedingt den Centro de Vigilantes del San Antonio besuchen. Die Ausstellung ist sehr informativ. Vom Faro fährt ein Bus zurück nach Fuencaliente.Schwierigkeitsgrad: anspruchsvoll
